Formerly a teacher of languages and music, Noreen trained at NCAD, Dublin and NSCAD in Nova Scotia, Canada, and has been a professional artist since 1992.

She spends her "visual life" painting, exhibiting, travelling and teaching, continually extending the boundaries of her art and using her media to create "something beautiful that will connect the soul of the viewer with the beauty of the visible world".

A response to the complex yet simple elements of experience, Noreen's art is expressionistic, immediate, subtle and full of the wonder of the world, its colours and textures.

As Noreen says, "My essence is that of a free spirit, in both life and in artistry. My blessing is to have the freedom in this life to follow the path of the free spirit in creativity. My reward is joy and fulfilment."
